Lesson One Header- Colour Coordination

Lesson One

Color Coordination

This page shows how to make coordinating backgrounds using the colors found in a graphic. It is the first lesson in the Juelle Web Design Course

These are the color swatches that I used to create the background tiles. They were obtained using the dropper tool in Paint Shop Pro. I chose 8 colors to work with.

Lesson 1 bar

plaid background tile

I made the base background tile by following a tutorial for making plaid backgrounds. I then used Simple Filters "Quick Tile" to make it seamless.

blue gradient background tile

The secondary background tile was created by making a gradient from two of the color swatches.
